So I made my first scratch cake yesterday...


I'm not really sure if it was a hit or not??

    You know Sarie, it was pretty easy. If I can do it, you sure as hell can! :) I made a red velvet cake w/cream cheese frosting. I don't know that I'll ever buy canned frosting again. Ok, ok, I probably will because I'm lazy. Red velvet is apparently seasonal and I wanted one (quoting Napoleon Dynamite) "REAL BAD". LOL

    It was YUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMYYYYYYY...It was the best fathers day present I recieved, especially since I DIDN"T get ANYTHING!!!!!!!! hint, hint, hint..When the hell did you turn into Little Suzie Homemaker anyway? Oh yea, I forgot, you work for the State so you have all the time in the world.


    P.S. the cake was good and I'm proud of you for the scratch cake, but next time you better make sure I get seconds or else I will make a nice post about your baby shoes that had a bar attached to the soles........BYE BYE

    what's this about a bar attached on your shoes?
    P.S. I want one of those things you put the cake on (as pictured above) I could probably buy myself one, but never will, so it will stay on my birthday list...on day wedding registry, and if still not...baby registry? I just want one.I'm proud of you for making a scratch cake, I haven't done that in years and the only one I've made is a yellow cake with cinnamon and sugar on top :) I'm a simple girl. Red Velvet sounds like it took more effort :)

    It was actually suprisingly easy. As for the cake plate, I picked it up at Walmart for $10...cheap right??

    I can smack my dad for bringing my bar shoes into this!! LOL I honestly can't remember them, I was probably smaller than I am in my blog pic of me picketing! LOL
