Sometimes being a whiny-smartass-crybaby pays off!

For reals!! Remember this little diddy I wrote a while back? Well, my smart ass self decided to enter my "photo journey" into this little picture contest my boss decided to set up. I did it more as a joke since, besides myself, everyone I work with has to work outside...and they actually enjoy it! Weirdos...anyhoo, guess what? I WON!! Exciting right? Wanna know what I won? Hold on to your hats and glasses folks 'cause this is a doozy. I won......lunch with my boss and my parking spot back for a WHOLE MONTH!! Told ya it was exciting!! I'm having a hard time containing myself this morning!! not really (BTW, I don't think I told y'all but I got evicted from my parking spot at the beginning of May because it's the stupid beginning of the busy season).

On a slightly different topic...can we please have a moment of silence for my gal Tonya?

Poor broad got let go on Friday. Come to find out peace officers have a hard time standing in front of a person aiming a gun at them and since this little lassy was on the wall next to me, she gave my big-beefy-park rangers the heebs! LMAO!!! So, now she gets to come home with me and be "Tonya the Chore Enforcer". See if she'll light a fire under my kids ass to pick up their "area"!!
I'm finally finished re-vamping the friggen Twilight Saga for the I don't know how manyieth time so I should hopefully be posting more. Did yas miss me??

  3. The most exciting part of this whole entry is that Tonya gets to use her gun AND her homemaking skills at the same time!! I'm so happy for her. She wasn't let go, she was promoted.

Of course, lunch and your parking spot are just as exciting :)

  4. I guess one could say that Tonya is a real Renaissance woman huh? I can't wait to introduce her to the family!! She better keep her big man paws off the hubs though if she knows what's good for her! She taught me everything I know!!

  5. Awesome job getting your spot back. My spot is next to the handicapped spot. Yes I am as close to the building as possible.

And I KNEW you were reading about MY man. Hands off! You've got Tonya. LOL

  8. I'm an office manager for a 44,000 acre state park in California. Beats the crap out of working in a cubicle all day. :)

  9. So, I have been pondering this for a while now.
What you are saying is that your bosses gave you what had been yours not more then a mere two weeks ago? As a prize? That you have to then give back?

Real? I know this is EXTREMELY UN-PC but isn't that an extreme case of being an Indian Giver? I'm really enthralled by this whole situations.

  10. Well cuteangiek, they never really gave me the spot to begin with. It had been my old bosses and when he retired, someone as a joke made a sign that said "Brandy Only" (oops, now you know my real name--no stalking please). In return I parked there knowing that once summer started I would be evicted. We have a small parking lot in the front of my office for the public to use and then we have a lot at the bottom of this freaking "mountain" where everyone else is supposed to park. May first I was told to start parking somewhere else, but I was half expecting that to come sooner. :) What is funny is that only a couple of weeks ago my new boss made a comment to me that he can no longer tell if I'm here or not because I don't park in my "spot", so I thought it was funny that my prize for winning the photo contest was my spot back for a week!! Yes, it is kinda like Indian giving, but I will take it as long as I don't have to hike that damn hill again. LOL

Cuteangiek - thanks again for the props. I'm glad you like my blog. :^)

As my daddy used to say, "Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and they all stink". That being said, do your worst, or best, which ever. (I prefer best though)
